RevOps Champion Anh Sharwani, Consultant Services Manager at Hyperscayle

Q: What brought you to Hyperscayle? What sparked your interest in RevOps?

Anh’s Answer: My path to Hyperscayle was less of a cold application and more of a reunion. I’d worked with Nick, Tony, and Ben before, and when the opportunity came up to join what they were building, it was an easy yes. As for RevOps itself, it wasn’t intentional, not even a little. I started out thinking I’d be purely in Marketing, but I kept gravitating toward the technical side of things - the systems, infrastructure, and the “how can we make this work” questions. Somewhere along the way, I realized I was the person always looking for the connective tissue across teams, identifying the gaps and trying to bridge them. RevOps was just naturally where I ended up.

Q: What’s one really important thing you’ve learned by working in RevOps that they don’t teach you in school?

Anh’s Answer: That it’s fundamentally about people. School teaches you frameworks, tools, and processes, but what actually moves the needle is whether the humans across sales, marketing, and ops trust each other and are moving in the same direction. Wanting to do right matters more than being right.  You can architect a perfect system, and it’ll still fall apart if people don’t feel ownership over it. The most impactful engagements have been with clients who are aligned around a shared way of working.

Q: What’s the best RevOps career advice you’ve ever received?

Anh’s Answer: Someone early in my career had a habit of volunteering me for things. At the time, I didn’t always love it, but looking back, it was the best thing for my career. I gravitated toward ops partly because I assumed it meant staying in the background, being heads down with low visibility, and just making systems work. They kept pulling me out of that. What I didn’t expect was how much RevOps actually demands that you show up and step up. Change management, stakeholder alignment, driving adoption across teams. Their advice continues to be to step outside of my comfort zone.

Q: What’s a common RevOps myth you’d like to debunk?

Anh’s Answer: That RevOps exists to serve sales is a common assumption. But RevOps isn’t for one team. It’s for the business. When it’s working well, it’s creating visibility, alignment and a scalable framework that benefit every revenue-touching function. Positioning it as a sales function truly limits what it can do.

Q: What’s your favorite RevOps tool, strategy, or framework right now?

Anh’s Answer: HubSpot, hands down. It’s where most of my days are spent, but Claude has genuinely become part of my daily workflow too. I love using it as a partner to pressure-test my logic in real-time.

Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Any hobbies or interests?

Anh’s Answer: Lately it’s been sewing and home projects. I have petite kids who take after me, so I end up mending and tailoring their clothes more often than I expected. What started as a necessity has become something I found myself enjoying. The kids are also involved and have asked me to make random pillows, though nothing I'm willing to show off. Something is grounding about working with your hands after a day spent entirely in systems and screens.

Q: What does being a 'RevOps Champion' mean to you?

Anh’s Answer: It’s caring about the work that doesn’t get seen. The systems, processes, and the alignment behind the scenes are what make everything else possible. If the people you work with can move faster and make better decisions because of the foundation you built, that’s the win.

At Hyperscayle, we believe that RevOps is more than just process optimization—it’s the backbone of scalable growth. Every RevOps Champion we feature plays a crucial role in transforming revenue operations into a strategic driver of business success.
