RevOps Champion Tony Tarantino, Chief Architect at Hyperscayle

Q: What brought you to Hyperscayle? What sparked your interest in RevOps?

Tony’s Answer: My two previous jobs before starting Hyperscayle were as a Consultant at Accenture and a Systems Architect at Mendix. I loved both jobs for different reasons: I loved the variable day-to-day and wide array of problem-solving that being a consultant provided; and I loved the ownership, impact, and energy of working for a start-up. I viewed Hyperscayle as a perfect mix of those two jobs, where I could face different problems every day and feel the energy and constant state of growth for a scaling organization..

Q: What’s one really important thing you’ve learned by working in RevOps that they don’t teach you in school?

Tony’s Answer: The Power of framing. RevOps is NOT always about providing the right answer, but it’s about how you frame the answer to your audience. It’s about showing people the light in the way that resonates most with them in their role. It's about delivering information to people in ways that they will CARE about the data/impact you are highlighting.

Q: What’s the best RevOps career advice you’ve ever received?

Tony’s Answer: Understand your audience's perspective and anticipate their first, second, and third responses. Always think about the information that you are providing from the audience's point of view, and get ahead of the response.

Q: What’s a common RevOps myth you’d like to debunk?

Tony’s Answer: People often view RevOps as a support function for your GTM team, but in reality it can be an accelerator and a revenue-generating function. Providing your sales team with meaningful accounts, ensuring that they have all relevant information to sell, supporting Marketing with the right data to have the biggest impact; assure revenue isn’t lost with incorrect/broken quotes are all activities that MAKE the company money.

Q: What’s your favorite RevOps tool, strategy, or framework right now?

Tony’s Answer:  As everyone continues to understand the role of AI and how it can support us in being more productive RevOps players, I’ve had a ton of success using Claude as a documentation engine. It allows me to provide a stream-of-consciousness thought process of how I envision something will work, and outputs a structured document with all the relevant details that is organized and easy to follow for both internal and external parties.

Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Any hobbies or interests?

Tony’s Answer: I love Halloween and try my best to make it a year-long celebration. Horror movies and spooky decor/ambiance are always my vibe, but most of the time it’s sandwiched between princess dress-up with my toddler.

Q: What does being a 'RevOps Champion' mean to you?

Tony’s Answer: It’s all about taking ambiguity and complexity and outputting clarity. A lot goes into running your business, and a true RevOps Champion can cut the noise, minimize clicks, and get you to the data/information/relationships that generate revenue for your company!

At Hyperscayle, we believe that RevOps is more than just process optimization—it’s the backbone of scalable growth. Every RevOps Champion we feature plays a crucial role in transforming revenue operations into a strategic driver of business success.
