RevOps Champion Madison Fazio, Project Manager at Hyperscayle
Q: What brought you to Hyperscayle? What sparked your interest in RevOps?
Madison’s Answer: I’ve always been drawn to roles that sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution, which is what led me to Hyperscayle. I didn’t come from a traditional RevOps background, but the more exposure I had to the space, the more I wanted to learn. As a Project Manager, I now get to work closely with our RevOps Consultants and see how fundamental their work is to driving growth and alignment across GTM functions for our clients..
Q: What’s one really important thing you’ve learned by working in RevOps that they don’t teach you in school?
Madison’s Answer: One thing that’s become incredibly clear to me is how important it is for every discipline, not just RevOps and IT, to have at least a basic understanding of data architecture. In fast growing organizations it is important for everyone in a GTM role to understand the data strategy to make sure everyone is on the same page with how it will be structured, integrated, and maintained. Clean, well-structured data is the backbone of accurate reporting, strategic decision-making, and cross-functional alignment. Without it, even the best dashboards start to fall apart due to faulty data. The earlier teams understand this, the smoother scaling becomes.
Q: What’s the best RevOps career advice you’ve ever received?
Madison’s Answer: There are two pieces of advice that have stuck with me. First, focus on the process before the systems. It’s tempting to jump straight into tools as a solution, but if the underlying process isn’t well-defined or aligned across teams, no system will fix that. Starting with process forces clarity, and it makes any system implementation or optimization much more effective.
The second piece of advice is that enablement always takes more time than you think. Even when you’ve built a great process and rolled out the right tools, the real work is making sure people understand and adopt the change. A solid enablement plan with clear documentation, hands-on training, and ongoing support is key to making any new RevOps initiative actually stick.
Q: What’s a common RevOps myth you’d like to debunk?
Madison’s Answer: That RevOps is just about managing tools or being the CRM admin. While systems are a part of it, true RevOps is about aligning strategy, people, and processes across the entire revenue engine. It’s proactive, not reactive. It plays a critical role in driving scalable growth..
Q: What’s your favorite RevOps tool, strategy, or framework right now?
Madison’s Answer: Right now, I’m really excited about RevCloud. What stands out is that instead of just generating quotes like most CPQ tools, it helps bridge the gap between sales, finance, and RevOps in a way that supports scale and speed.
Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Any hobbies or interests?
Madison’s Answer: I love traveling! Exploring new cultures, trying local foods, and seeing how people live around the world keeps me curious and always has me learning something new. Next up is a round the world trip to Copenhagen, Hong Kong, and Japan!
Q: What does being a 'RevOps Champion' mean to you?
Madison’s Answer: To me, being a RevOps Champion means being a connector. The RevOps team should bring clarity to chaos, help ensure alignment of the other GTM teams, and should help drive data-backed decisions. RevOps is about anticipating problems before they exist and working to create scalable systems that help the business grow faster and smarter.
At Hyperscayle, we believe that RevOps is more than just process optimization—it’s the backbone of scalable growth. Every RevOps Champion we feature plays a crucial role in transforming revenue operations into a strategic driver of business success.
