RevOps Salary Survey Explainer: What We're Doing and Why
You’re in revenue operations, and your family doesn’t understand what you do. No matter how many times you try to explain it to them. We get it. It’s hard enough to figure out how to explain what you do and to actually *perform* your day to day job - having a career path and strategy seems out of this world.
A while back, I created the first (well, at least the first I personally knew of!) community-driven marketing operations salary survey, and I’ve gotten countless DMs telling me about raises…some folks have even doubled their salary! Talk about impactful to not only that specific professional, but also the overall community.
I created the survey because I was frustrated that legacy salary information sources were ad-driven, inaccurate, and sometimes even sold to other businesses.
Enter, the RevOps Salary Survey
That’s why we put together this RevOps Salary Survey here at Hyperscayle. We want to help collect RevOps-specific data so you can use it in your compensation negotiations, promotion conversations, or even if you’re new to RevOps and want to get a sense of what kind of pay you could get.
The beauty of this community-driven effort is that as we all give our current compensation data, we also get the wider community’s information in return. We see the full insights of how people are being paid across the country. And it’s anonymous, so we can avoid any awkward conversations or feeling self-conscious!
It’s also not going to be used for any commercial purpose, we aren’t selling the data or selling ads on the site. And it won’t be as outdated as some other sources!
Initial Data from the RevOps Salary Survey
Here are some interesting initial insights we’re already seeing through our initial data collection:
The average salary falls between $140K to $150K, indicating strong earning potential in the RevOps field: The highest salary range reported is $270K to $280K, while the lowest is less than $50K.
Experience and certifications play a big role in salary growth: Most respondents hold 2-3 certifications (32.7%) or more than 5 certifications (30.9%).
Industry matters: Tech and Finance industries lead RevOps hiring, indicating strong career opportunities in these sectors.
